Exhibition in Hotel Scribe, Paris

Muriel Bordier, photo, exposition, exhibition, White Cube, Hotel Scribe, Paris, France

Hotel Scribe in Paris is hosting an exhibition of photographs and videos by Muriel Bordier titled "White Cube".

I was lucky enough to receive an invitation to attend the vernissage. The artist (right on the above photograph) is a mischievous looking woman living in Brittany. Chatting with her was in itself a great pleasure. And I really enjoyed her pictures. They look simple from afar but are truly quite sophisticated.

Françoise Gaudin, Communication and Public Relation Director and her assistant Julie Séevagen also present were kind enough to give me an insight into the history of the hotel and its long relationship with the fixed and moving image world.

The Hotel Scribe also has a very pleasant tea room or 'Maison de Thé' where you can taste exclusive Asian brews in fine bone china cups whilst indulging yourself with a delightful pastry. A heaven of peace in the busy shopping district where I stop whenever possible.
